A extremely well written poem and I found it to be very beautiful. No errors here. I can identify with your loss as well. I lost my mom years ago, yet her memory is as if she is still here. Yes, children the very essence of Gods' amazing and mind boggling creation. This poem has the mothers love and sentiment with each word and I see no reason to make any type of correction as there is none needed. I loved this story as it warmed my heart to see that this child found such a joy in his friend. The grammar was excellent and the story flowed without any type of block. My dear friend and poet; I was three years old when my granmother gave me an old indian chief yellow writing tablet and a pencil aalmost as big as my little finger in diameter. This story you have written about your sister is very well done and I cried with the reading of each emotional verse. Sometimes when we write about someone or something very close to our hearts and imbeded in our memories, it comes across {at least to this old country poet}' a lot of beautiful words shared from the soul. I applaud your desire in your writings. I examined each beautiful line and I saw nothing that I would change. You definitely have an eye to write upon a persons heart with your words.
