This would be interesting to read the full story - the diary of her whole summer. I can imagine something happening that, by the end of summer, the diary has helped her to overcome. With that, I like that she views this assignment as a bore at first. There were a few grammatical issues, but overall, I enjoyed it, and hope there is going to be more to this story.
