I like to always pick out the positive points in a piece, even if overall I am not enamoured by it. I tend to point out grammatical and spelling errors. I will be honest, but not unkind *Smile*

Interesting to read - very different to most of the stuff I have read on here so far. A LITTLE contraversial - but isn't that what living in the free world is about? An entitlement to express our opinions - however contraversial ;)

You should probably have a column in a newspaper.

Left wing.

BTW, Id be interested to hear your opininion on British politics.

Heya, loved your little story - actually made me " LOL" he he. Really funny - reminds me a bit of Tom Holt or even Douglas Adams ;)

Also love the fact it's set in the UK - Not sure all our America friends will understand the subtlties of the regional UK accent ;)

Love your extreme flash fiction - a whole story on half a page - and still fun to read, can picture those kids looking for ghosts and monsters ;)

Wow this is a really good poem - as you say you wrote this for a lesson in school I am presuming you are quite young! But your imagary and ideas are fantastic and very powerful. I also like how you have injected a bit of humor with:

Clearly proven not a speaker, one of this child’s charms ;)

If I only have one query - if it was up to me (and it is not so you can tell me to shut up lol) I would change the line "going quiet in my hold" To "Going quiet in my arms" or something similar - though I see you have done this to make the rhyme. Just the meaning is a bit lost (to me) Apart from that it's great :)

What a lovely poem, it reads very well and I like the rhymes you have here. Even in this short verse it depicts all the emotion you have felt over some period of time, I hope you are right about God hearing one's teardrops as I am never quite sure...

Anyway thanks for a lovely poem to read! :)

mmmm those sound delicious, I really fancy some now with my glass of red wine! I tend to eat wholemeal flour but I guess they would work just as well with that! :)
