Found this piece in the 'read a newbie' feature.

And I'm hearing 'Danger Zone' by Kenny Loggins in my head, seeing that climatic battle at the end of 'Top Gun' in my mind's eye.

I like the visual the last stanzas evoke. Well done.

I wish there was a 'Like' button for this that I could click on, because there's just no words.

Firstly, I'm so sorry for your loss. Secondly, thank you so much for sharing.

While I don't have personal experience with polyamory, I love menage and reverse harem romance stories and erotica. The way everyone involved comes together to show everyone else that they are accepted and loved, that they'll never be left alone. There's a beauty in that concept that's rare and unique, and damned difficult to find elsewhere.

My best wishes for you and all in your circle.

Review of Drownin' in Air  Open in new Window.

Your intro was all I needed to know this would be interesting. :) While the first few stanzas are a bit confusing for me (but probably make absolute perfect sense to you), I have to admit 'sometimes is the serious rock/scissors stage' is a great line.

And I especially love the last stanza ... leaving a (.) period where most people read that last invisible word, it truly made me smile. And the stanza is so relevant to the current climate.

Well done.

Oh my stars ... how sad.

I especially like '...it was easier to lie .... to smile instead of cry' -I can't tell you how often I've felt the same way.

I also like 'I didn't want to admit the fact, I cannot spread my wings. And my happiness has melted, into tears and other things.' -I see the weeping angel with her wings folded along her back, an empty bottle of whiskey on the ground having fallen from her hand.

The emotional impact, and the inspired imagery ... wow. Well done.
