Gripping, that would be the word I believe. I thought it was an excellent read. The perspective of the leader, having sent his troops to their death can really be felt. This could easily be the start of a much longer work.I wouldn't change a thing. Keep up the good work!
The flow of this was really nice. Easy read for free verse. I often find too many forced poems by people that think they are the next W. B. Yeats but end up resembling a seventh grade english assignment. I truly enjoyed this work, keep it up.
Again Sara you never cease to amaze. The more of your stories I read the more I want to read. I hope it doesn't sound cliche, but each one has that remarkable ability to place the reader inside the story. your characters are very believable and easy to sympathize with. I must read more. Thanks again for what you do.
