This was really touching to read, and having horses myself, I understand the huge loss you feel when you lose them, as they are more then a pet. I could feel your emotion when reading this, and I think the uncomplicated rhyme scheme was very effective in broadly portraying you emotion without hiding it through fancy words, so this was a great choice. 'and say your name' really demonstrates the heaviness you feel, and the emptiness of needing to say the name to remember how it sounded, really struck me.

This was incredibly interesting to read! I've had a little look through your writing, and absolutely love your style. I think this is very important to remember, especially as the idea of unrealistic beauty standards is so relevant with the uprise of social media, however is usually linked to the female beauty standards, many people forgetting that toxic masculinity is very real.
