|Hi Steven, I’m Miranda, or Mia. I stumbled upon this work through another story, and figured you could do with a review.
Usually, I would not review a long work. One, because of the time, and two, because I usually lose interest quickly. It doesn’t matter if it’s a great work, Imo bored regardless. Reading books is an easy task, and often enjoyable, but something about essays... Anyway, I read this the whole way through. I enjoyed it. As of now, I am at your earlier stages. I am a teenager, and have no idea what the future will hold, let alone look like. It does make me wonder though; will I be kind and fulfilled like my grandparents, or regretful.
If you had this insight as a teenager, I would be surprised if you took it. Not because you’re you, rather because you didn't know who you were yet. I certainly don’t. You probably know all of this anyway, but I don’t see any harm in reiterating it. You can’t change your past, and even though life hasn’t gone by how your expected, I ask you if it was worth it? Ignore the regrets for a moment, if you can, and think about that: was your time worth it?
I don’t know my reason for writing this, you know more then me, and I can’t say why, but who knows. I might be in your shoes one day, and some crazy teenager could say the same. Keep writing Steven.
