I also love to craft and enjoy crocheting intricate dresses for fashion dolls. I can read and follow patterns but as you know, it's far more rewarding to come up with your own ideas and patterns!
Oh yuck, that had to be nasty! Maybe your parents didn't want you to get drinks from the fridge because they thought you'd spill something, and I bet that water never tasted so good in your mouth as it did on that day!
Hug barrels were the best. We never had them in our fridge growing up because they were too costly, but my cousins always had them chilling in their fridge and my brother and I were welcome to drink them whenever we'd visit and even take one to drink on the ride home!
My mom also collected Barbies. Many of them got damaged in a flood one year but she spent hours cleaning the ones she could save. She had several of the dolls you mentioned and gifted me her Erica Kane Barbie. I'm sure new Barbies will roll out for years to come but it's fun to dress and play with our old ones!
