As you requested I only gave you half a star, but while it was pretty bad, mostly due to unnecessary repetition, it wasn't horrible. It was a cute, fun little story.
Very well said. Luckily I live in Minnesota, so we still greet strangers with a "Morning, beautiful weather isn't it?" Or, recently, "I'm so sick of this snow, how about you?" But we smile at each other and we pet strangers' dogs and I am so glad I'm not in a bigger city these days. We're under 28,000 with 2 universities and I think having a lot of college kids is actually a good thing. Kids these days are fed up with what the older generations have done to the planet and actually want to fix things, from what I've seen. So, I still have hope! Thanks for writing this, hopefully it will encourage more people to be kind.
Fantastic little story. I loved it. That coin sure would come in handy! I love the ending where the dog's wishes are coming true. Very adorable! Great job!
An interesting little piece. It does make you think. I agree that a lot of people only socialize on their phones these days. It makes me angry when you're visiting with people in person, playing a game or whatever, and someone has their head buried in their phone. If you don't want to spend time and hang out with me, fine, but then just stay home and chat on your phone. I find it so rude. Luckily my closest friends agree and we put our phones away if we're spending time together in person. (Unless we have to Google something, haha) I can't help but wonder if Terminator 3 is how we all die.
Oh my! How big was that spider? Very well-written, wonderful attention to detail. Do you really know this much about spiders or did you have to do some research? You painted an excellent picture either way. Very creepy!
Wow....just wow! That was very powerful, very...I don't even know if I can describe it. It hit home on an emotional level. Felt so real. Absolutely fantastic!
Wonderful descriptions, very realistic. It was difficult to read about the cows being killed but a very well-written story and I loved the dark ending.
Wonderful, fun story. I really loved this one. I think it's my favorite so far. Delightful! Knights of the Periodic Table especially made me giggle as I belong to a pub trivia team called the Periodic Table Dancers. Thanks for the laughs!
What a sweet, touching story. I really enjoyed this. I felt that Harold was a very realistic character and I was happy for him when he found something he could enjoy doing. Very well written.
