im just staring my jounry into adulthood so I don't know what I'm going to be like in a few years. I don't think it's going to be my last chance to be me.

Sometiems I don't even know who I am. Other times I do. It's just a crazy world out there.

"So this new journey I am starting on, is a chance to at last be me."

Sweet, sweet letter. Oh gosh. The feels!

This really reminds me of my grandma. A lot. I miss her so much.

My grandma is in heaven too. She went to heavenly home about four years ago on March 20th 2011.

I hope you and your family and doing okay and I'm sorry for your loss.

this made me wanna cry! this is such a cute little story!

I love this so much! it's sweet.

I like that you had saved him and nursed him back to health.

It's always sad for me when pets get injured and no one takes care of them. It's too sad.

I love thinking about senerios like this where I'm just like "what would have happened if..."?

the one thing I'd say to you is to separate your paragraphs so that people will understand what in the world you're saying. It was a little hard for me to read.

1) I'd like to say this poem really took me back to the days when I used to stand out in the rain and jump in puddles or ride my bike through puddles and make wet tire marks on the street.

2) I like how you repeated some of the same words through the poem.

hm, this was interesting.

I feel like the first part of the poem was about either a bad time in your life or about depression.

"My cup weighs more than the drink,
so much that I can barely tell
when it's nearing the end of its contents.
I can hardly sleep, alone.
This space in my head can't take
the emptiness"

To me, that's what depression feels like.

At least your poem had a happy ending! I love happy endings in things, don't you?

um, TEARS!!!! :(

oh my gosh, this was so sad! I can't even really cry, but my eyes are wet with tears.

Poor Mandy, losing her mom like that. That's the worst when a child loses their mom that young like that.

The ending though! Ugh, Danny, letting go of your daughter like that? if that were me, I'd be fighting tooth and nail to get to my dad.

I have so many people in my family who are veterans, so I enjoyed reading this poem!

This poem tells me a story. the story of a veteran leading a parade in memory of his friends.

I liked how emotional this was. you used a lot of good words in this poem!

oh my god, this just breaks my heart so much!

I love reading poems about pets. it really makes me smile, but this one made me sad.

I know very well the pain of having a pet die, as my dog died a year and a half ago. I miss him more than I can say in poem.

1) I loved how you used different colors for each line! that shows me you are a creative person!

2) I loved this poem because not only is it about Christmas, but it's about family. You don't hear a lot about that in our world today, so thank you for that.

was this based on a real-life situation?

I like the blue color for this poem. I think you made it blue because you were sad and upset, and blue is that "Sad" color.

My favorite line of this poem was "I can't ask you to do the impossible
and stop you from being who you are."

That just really speaks to me for some reason!

First of all, the emotion and pain in this poem is insane. I can see and understand your thoughts, your need to be alone. My life, everyday, is like this.

um, this was a good story, but it was also very......creepy.

Can I ask if this was for a contest you were doing? Because normally I don't see the (XXX words)- number of words-at the bottom of a story.

i thought the part where his "animal instints" were described was interesting. i didn't think it meant he was going to kill her! i thought it meant it was going to have sex with her.

Anyway, thanks for sharing this story with me!

what was this? a letter to someone? a letter to yourself? a diary entry? an essay?

Whatever it was, this was an interesting read. it was hard for me to read, but it was interesting.

I have to say tho, I disagree with your statement about religion killing people. Religon doesn't kill people, people kill in the name of religion.

My grandma had cancer so I know the pain of that whole deal.

oh my god that last line made me laugh! but I think God made us impish for a reason? he doesn't want us to be sad! he's a happy God after-all!

oh, wow, this was interesting to say the least!

I've always wondered about time-travel, wondering if it could work or anything. Or if it's even possible. It could change a lot of things if it was possible, couldn't it?

the one complaint I would make is that your paragraphs are too close together. You need to separate them. I was having a hard time reading your story.

I feel like i've read you before, but i'm not sure! anyway, this was an interesting piece of writing! :)

I really like how you started your writing with a question. That was the best part for me.

"We often speak about our spirit and our spiritual connection, but what is that? Is it that voice we hear inside our head or is it the feeling we have in our hearts? Is it pain, is it suffering? Where does it come from? Who knows?"

That honestly sounds so mysterious and makes me want to answer those questions!

A wizard, guards, missing family? Sounds like old ancient times! This could be a great mystery story!

My favorite line was the last line: "Then I saw them, cried out, ran to them. My family."

That made me cry because it reminds me of my family!!!!

As a Catholic Christian, this poem speaks to me. Especially that last stanza because that is what i was taught. To love those who hurt us, pray for those who hurt us. It's not always easy to do so.

or was it a tear
for what went into its making?

This had to be my favorite paragraph of the poem. I don't know why, but I really liked the visuals here. The idea of joy and perfume together just sounds really cool.

Why was it beautiful? For a lot of reasons....

1) it was short, sweet, and right to the point.
2) the way you wrote it was just so pretty and perfect.
