on this same journey....sometimes we just do get tired
and need to rest, then someone will come by..not

You are a very talented writer and have,
with this story about fairies, shown a great sense of
creativity. I was drawn in by the title, as it brought me back to another time in my life when I WOULD WAIT by my window at night just knowing one
of these tiny creatures would come to visit me.
MY FAVORITE LINE WAS: "I wasn't going to
test graity and try to follow him out the window."
It brought a little humour and just a bit of reality
to the night's mystery.
I LIKED THE CONCEPT of the story and the lesson that
good will overcome evil. You did a good job of holding
the reader's attention and your descriptions of the
cities both at home and afar were excellant, especially the colorful way you painted it after they
had returned home and it had lighted up with happy
folks.
This was well thought out, and the ending with the
present of the stone still in her hand was still
another reminder that "to err is human, but to dream
devine".
This was a great fantasy story, keep on writing.

A beautiful silver polished box with pretty
yellow roses and a background of green leaves intriqued me from the very start. How she knew it was chocolate candy I figured that the aroma must have seeped out from the box before she opened it.
I WAS there watching each piece, so beautifully described with anticipation to see what flavor would
unfold next. Would she like it, or put it back half eaten as I HAVE DONE MANY TIMES, if a box of candy was
just for me.
MY FAVORITE is the way you referred to each piece as a morsal, or confection...getting my imagination going to make my mouth water, longing for
one of these little delicacies that would delight any one with a sweet tooth.
This was delightful. I LOVED THE PICTURE YOU PAINTED

mischief maker that brought humor into your life. I
am happy that you were able to paint such a darling
picture of his antics and how they touched you with

the title is why I choose the POEM or story in this
case. A "COAT" that has a story behind it? Very
interesting I assumed, and I WAS right.
From the beginning I loved Granddaddy as you were
able to stir emotions that indeed brought me to another time and place. HE taught you more than
fishing and hunting, he taught you to cherish the
love he gave to you. HE ALSO taught you this very

will always be able to hang on to his love, recalling
it to mind to fill your heart forever. That is the

almost a month ago. This was a great informative
lesson and I AM really grateful that you cared enough
to write about the different forms of POETRY. The
best and my favorite was the example of "MITTENS". It

this form, and hope to improve my writing skills by

OUR YOUNG MEN ARE DYING EVERY DAY AND THIS WAS A
BEAUTIFUL TRIBUTE OF REMEMBRANCE OF ONE OF THEM. IN THE SECOND VERSE, YOU SAID "he told me

if it might flow better as "passing" of a strong,young

This is only my opinion. It really touched me because

Your poem "Best Friend" is delightful. It is
spoken from the heart from someone who certainly
knows what it is to be a friend. As you speak, it
is always being there for someone. It is to give
strength and love, to build trust, self-esteem, and
self-respect. IT IS TRUE LOVE, to be a friend, because it holds dear the same principles..you
have to give friendship to someone and be a friend
first. MY FAVORITE LINE IS "If I lost you friend,
I would manage somehow."
This verse speaks softly, but is what the poem is
really all about. To give someone YOUR STRENGTH
and have them be able to stand on their own after

THE REASON I RATED THIS 5 IS BECAUSE OF THE FOLLOWING;
l. I related to the character in the mirror.
2. Since eyes are the mirror of our soul, to look into
our own and be able to look at the past and "see
how we've grown" is something we ALL need to do.
Rather than look at the past of all mistakes we
have made, we need to see how far we have come.
This shows me something about how positive you are
We can ALL learn a lesson and you have inspired
me to learn from this as sometimes we take ourselves too seriously and by concentrating on the
positive..we will only become better persons.
3. MY FAVORITE PART IS " Every day something new",
Every day something dies" I SEE THIS AS FOLLOWS;
We can start each day with a clean slate, work to
become better, try and overcome bad habits.....
We can't erase the past, but we can forget the
