I am no poet and don't know a lot about free style, but this was enjoyable and I understood the connotations within as I read it. I cannot give a rating based on my expertise, only what I felt when I read it. Thanks for sharing.
Well done Olivia. There is both sadness and hope in this great piece of poetry. My sister in law lost her son two years ago and I felt her anguish. I wrote a poem for her titled MOMMY (in my port). She thanked me for it. Welcome to WDC. Today is my 7th anniversary on WDC. You will find that most of the writers here are friendly and helpful, but, there are a few fuddy duddys.
Well done WhoMe. I enjoy reading rhyming poetry, probably because that is the only type I can write at this time. I do know good poetry when I read it, and this was very good. Thanks for sharing.
Very good! Smooth writing and a good intro to a who-don-it. I know this is 'flash fiction' but you quickly identified the scene and put your characters into it in a well paced scenario.
I haven't read any of the above - yet- I was curious to see if you plan on publishing a paperback or hardcopy of book one? If not, I will purchase the ebook. THEN I will look into book 2.
Good job on this one B-Squared. I am no poet but enjoy reading it. I also read your story "Ranger's Beginning." I think you have something there. Needs a little tweaking but a good read.
Well done Kat. I enjoy poetry even when it is as sad as this bit.(Although I only dabble in poetry) I also enjoyed reading the first part of Resonant Darkness. I will be back to read more.
Very enjoyable to read Mary Ann. I also liked you 'a night to remember' Thanks for sharing. I spent time in London a few years back, enjoyed it for the most part, hard to understand their English though. LOL
Well done and well thought out. I enjoyed this learning adventure. I guess I am discriminatory. I have my favorite coffee cup, my favorite plate, my favorite spoon, my favorite hammer, saw, book, shovel, etc. etc. LOL
