Review of Christmas Trivia
Review by sadorose
Rated: E | (5.0)
A very fun quiz. It covers a lot of different aspects of Christmas making it a comprehensive quiz. The questions were challenging, but not so challenging as to be frustrating. I also liked how you would give the category of the question. I enjoyed taking this quiz.

A profound, thought provoking poem. It teaches that money can buy objects, but not the substance that lies within the objects. It has a natural flow that is easy to follow along with. Repeating the phrases, "Money can buy...but not." gives it a rhythm that helps to drive the message home. I enjoyed reading this.

Review of Apples or Onions

A profound story. The characters were compelling and believable. The dad is an idealized dad, saying and doing the perfect thing to help his baby girl feel better. I was unclear about only one thing, why she would not want her mom to see her cry. It clearly coneys the message that it is useless to regret the past or fear the future. I enjoyed reading this.

An interesting section of a chapter. It pulls the reader into the story, leaving them wanting to read on. The characters were engaging and believable. I was a tad confused at the last bit of dialogue. I was not sure if he was talking to himself, thinking or talking to someone with him? I would probably know that if I read the previous parts. I enjoyed reading it.

Review of Hard Times in NYC

Rated: 13+ | (5.0)
A dramatic short story that pulls the reader in. I feel that it would work well as a chapter. The characters are compelling and believable. Leaving the answer to the question of if he ever manages to get the loan sharks paid off unanswered, leaves the reader creating their own answers. I enjoyed reading this.

Review of it's in your eyes
Review by sadorose

An entertaining poem. In a mere 19 lines, you captured the sexuality and intensity of the tango. The imagery created a full picture of the emotional intensity of the dance. The flow was like a tango in itself. I particularly liked the line, "the heat of our eyes," it sums up the entire experience. I really enjoyed reading this.

A very engaging short story. My favorite line of dialogue had to be, “Lions of Persepolis throw your stones upon the scorpions who defy our land!” it creates such a feeling of confidence. I liked how you ended it in modern times without ending the battle. I enjoyed reading this.

A very dramatic poem about the hardship of making difficult decisions. The imagery paints a rich picture of the stress and uncertainty in making the right decision. It had a nice flow that was easy to follow along with. This poem can help others realize that they are not alone in feeling the self doubt in the rightness of a decision. I enjoyed reading this.

A creative and fun poem. It tackles the common problem of writer's block. In just a few lines, you managed to thoroughly give some good advice on how to overcome it. The flow was quick, but easy to follow along with. It could prove very helpful to not "look". I enjoyed reading this.

A very intense and dramatic poem. I am not familiar with the source story that inspired it, so cannot draw a comparison or any connection, but it was a very moving poem on its own. The imagery paints a vivid picture of the pain and permanent damage abuse causes. Thank you for sharing.

Challenge successfully met. It checked all of the boxes and created a dramatic poem. You can nearly feel the fear that she felt. You changes from masculine form to feminine form seamlessly. The dark images drives the threat of danger home. I enjoyed reading this. There are no stars to rate, but I give it a 5 star.

Quite the comprehensive quiz. This is a thorough review for any Harry Potter test and would make a perfect cheat sheet. I like how you organized it into sections for types of questions, such as "Professor Snape." You even cite your answers with book and page number. I liked this post.

A very informative article. It talks about a culture of sleep deprivation and the consequences. I like how you give an example in the form of a scenario, making it more relatable. The sleep deprivation and caffeine culture does not end after college, we are expected to be doing something all of the time. It was enlightening to read.
