This free form poem exemplifies the space the title identifies.There are boxes of neat stuff to explore but it is not very organized. There doesn't seem a theme except to take the subjects out to see if there is a use for them. There are several good pieces in nascent form waiting to be expanded, I look forward to seeing some of them as adults.
The rhyme is good, the imagery evocative. I could see the chipmunk and the whole scene from behind Johnny's head. I had a little trouble with the rhythm But that may have been because of my cold read, All in all I like the effort and hope to see more.
