This poem ask some good questions. I like that it directs us to focus on the Lord. It is easy to read and could easily be put to music if so desired. I like the nice smooth rhythm of the poem. We should follow Jesus but so often we overlook what we really look like when we are in his presence.
Wow! I didn’t expect that ending! This kept me on the edge of my seat until the end. It was suspenseful. The words painted a good picture of the scenery. I could feel myself being drawn into the story almost immediately. This could have very easily turned into a novel.
I like these thoughts. They have a nice flow to them. I could picture someone outside saying this to themself on a dark cloudy night. I am assuming that is the feel you were going for. It is like standing in front of a mirror to examine your life path.
It Sounds poetic and dramatic. It is different from what I normally read, but interesting and a bit of a horror especially for those afraid of bugs. I Hope I don’t get the creepy crawlies feeling today after reading this. Did I mention I am not a huge fan of bugs?
Where was the information found for some of these questions? It was interesting and challenging. This was definitely thought provoking. How old was Jesus when they moved to Nazareth? I could be wrong, but my understanding was he was around 3 years old so in my opinion he didn’t grow up there if that is the case. Could version of the Bible cause a variation in any of these answers? I am going to have to go read the story from my King James Version Bible now.
