I found this gripped me from the beginning.. but.. "excitement soars at an all time low" seemed to me to be incoherant.. I may, of course, be wrong, but, i re-read it a few times and feel, at least to this reader, it is a.. laboured line.. May need re-work.

I found this story to be quite original. Highly whimsical, fanciful. Held my attention and i did not zone out. Excellent.
