Aww, I found this piece to be very uplifting and I related very well to this. You are so correct by writing the line; "Different-as you have not progressed into the world of acceptance" I thought this line was a life lesson for all empaths and spiritualists. I found this piece to be very emotional for me. You expressed yourself so very clearly for the reader. You certainly tugged on my heart strings with this poem. I know this was written a few years ago but I hope it is still relevant. I live in the United Kingdom and I am guessing the SPCA is the same as our service, the RSPCA; "Royal Society of Protection and Care of Animals". This service does an amazing job here in the UK. I would have loved this piece to be longer so I could read more from you on this subject. Your message was simple, sweet and direct. My favourite line was "Oh God above, among the bright stars" . I thought this was very humbling. I also thought this writing was uplifting. Thank you for sharing.
