I liked your poem a lot. I only wrote one romantic poem, Ocean Poem. It is about the light reflecting off Mars when I was walking on a beach one night with a woman I had recently met. It was one of the happiest experiences I have ever had. She acted as if she were extremely happy. Following that weekend, I wrote the poem and sent it to her. She disappeared and I never heard from her again. I encourage you in your writing. I would appreciate any feedback on any of my other poems. Bob

I am new here. I identified with your poem. I understand that the human condition necessarily involves our sometimes feeling alone and depressed. I have sometimes felt separated from God against my will. It made no sense to me as I was trying to reach out to Him.

I am new here. I liked your poem. It gives the reader a glimpse of your thinking as you relive this freightening event. It made me think of a question: Was the shooter a formerly good and normal boy who became distraught or furious or extremely depressed because he was the target of bullying by numerous other people? Or, possibly, was he ostrasized unjustifiably by mean peers? I just wondered. Perhaps because you had known him, you might have an insight into what actually happened.
