Hello there,

I could tell at a glance that this was full of repetition in the last line of each stanza. I saw immediately that they were spaced with forced and's. To be truthful, it kind of made me cringe a little. This was merely my first, judgmental opinion. As I read through it though, I felt a little differently.

I really enjoy philosophical poetry. I think it's a lost art in today's culture. So when I see it, I'm always a bit skeptical because in addition to being rare, it's also somewhat difficult. I think you pulled it off well, though. You bring in modern factors that simply didn't exist in older philosophical poetry. (Like stealing grapes from Safeway, road signs, etc.)

Sometimes, when I read poetry on death, I get a lot of angst-like vibes. Although this was most certainly the topic of the stanzas, I didn't get an overly 'woe is me' vibe. Rather, it seemed to be more of meandering thoughts. It's true that there's a time and place for every emotion, but I didn't get the angst here, and I think that overall that really made the piece much better. *Thumbsup*

I can't really think of anything else to say, beside the fact that I felt some punctuation was a little out of place. Overall, I'm glad I came across this, and it's something that I'll be sure to revisit. It has some really lovely ideas and concepts in it! Thank you for sharing. *Smile*
