In this pocket-sized story, "The Hunted House", Bodhisattwa Parekh showed his enormous talent. It is theistry. Nowadays it can't be so often. But, the writer's is fantastic. In this artistry of writing, every word, sometimes each letter, is used very cautiously. What does it mean? If any word is not urgent to express your narrative, you just skipengaging narrative that plays with the themes of fear and expectation. This story begins with the narrator of the story entering a dark, hunted house, filled with anticipation for a ghostly encounter. This sets a suspenseful tone, drawing the readers into the teller's mindset as they navigate the unknown. Something interesting will happen, that is certain. But, what is that? No idea, just a guess. Suspense is in extreme mode. The tension escalates with the introduction of a red-eyed ghost, which initially seems to be the narrator's wish for a supernatural experience. However, the twist comes swiftly when the anticipated ghost turns out to be a black cat, cleverly overturning expectations. This unexpected turn not only adds a layer of humour but also focuses on the often irrational nature of fear. The cat's sudden appearance and the teller' startled reaction serve to remind the readers that what we fear is not always as menacing as it seems. Overall, his story, though brief, effectively captures the essence of a classic haunted house tale while making it fragrant with a playful twist. The narrative's conciseness allows for a quick yet impactful reading experience, leaving the readers with a sense of amusement and a reflection on the nature of fear. A former investigative journalist turned runaway, he broadcasts the missing reality of the situation to anyone who will listen, disclosing the publicizing nature of the AI's rise.
