This has a lot going for it. I like it rhyme. It is a little to negative, especially for such a young person writing it. Iam glad you said a doll, I won't be as concerned. Because you have talent, and you are just fine as you have been created. More writing please. Best wishes to you.

Omg, I really like this story even though I was afraid he would not wake up. Your detail to describing the lighthouse, Hugo and Hugh's thought were such that it took me there....great writing.

Review of Starcrossed

How true your poem speaks! We are seeing a lot of the decline of innocence; hard for me to comprehend it all. I was born in 1945...the 50s, as a child, well, we will never see that wonderful time period again. It was a carefree time for children. I guess I should be thankful that I was born in that era (believe me, I am) and not earlier during the war.

Excellent writing; it moves me.

So adorable! This would be great in a collection book of similar stories for the young, especially young girls.

I love that it tells of grandma; I miss mine (only new one on my mother's side). She was special and took an interest in my schooling and even came to my eight grade graduation. She bought my dress and shoes. I am 75 now, but that is so vivid in my mind.

Thanks for taking me now memory lane.

Lovely,

This is amazing; well done! I love your choices of words and how affective you have made them become. I found myself answering the questions because it is such a "thought provoking" poem.
You have a great gift for writing and expressing your feelings.

Thanks for writing this one,

Review of The Flower I Was.

I love flowers and you have given the flower a new life. It would be fun to know what a flower was thinking if it could. I am so happy the good Lord created such beauty...colors, fragrances, shapes and textures. Beautiful poem.

Review of Why
Review by Seabreeze
Rated: E | (5.0)
Why indeed! I also ask similar questions but the more I study our Father's word the more I am content to wait for some answers that will not come till He does.

I like especially: Why do we put " In God we trust"on our money then when God tries to speak to us we get funny... I believe because man thinks he understand all, but really understand very little. He uses what works....especially for gain.

Let me welcome you to this site as I see you are a newbie. Hope your stay is fruitful and enjoyable.

I do like your story, The Sidworuld In fact, I am hoping you have more that is posted (have not looked at your site). I am reviewing via Read and Review.

I like how the story eases into itself. There is an immediate mystique about it which draws you in.

It is well written, I saw no apparent flows in grammatical concerns or typos...very professional.

I see you are a newbie...so I welcome you and hope you enjoy your journey here!

Great piece....hoping for more.

Seabreeze

p.s. I you get this twice, sorry, having trouble sending my review.

I really liked your What's In The Trunk story. It was fun getting into. It kept me in suspense and I was excited to see where it was going. I thought it was different, fresh...nothing I had read before and would like to have it expanded someway.

Nice work,

Review of Bubbles Bursting
Review by Seabreeze

Oh my, I love your Bubbles Bursting!

You had my focus and all along I was remembering how such a bath could be so relaxing.

I was even having flash backs of music, bubbles and my choice, a glass of wine.

AND THEN, along came the surprise. I laughed....reminiscing how it can be to have a

lively pet...one who would steal the show.

Cute poem, cute story.

Review of Feeling of Love

Yes, I agree it has its ups and downs and goes around and around.

A short but very pertinent. This thing called love...truly a feeling - running cold and hot, running good and bad.

Yes, rather insane and many times not returned.

You have pointed out many aspects of this thing we call Love.

Very nice,

Seabreeze

Beautifully written. And, yes, God is real for me as well. I don't think I could be as up beat, looking forward day to day if it were not for my Lord. Times are very stressed, complicated, worry some and from day to day we cannot possibly know what will occur next.

I admit, I pray more and more now than ever. I pray for my family, friends, and leaders across our country.

The virus does not scare me as much as mankind! The turmoil we are seeing in our country, the riots, people hurting/killing each other, is an ugly plague. I am 74 and never was taught to hate anyone because of their color and to this day I still cannot understand it all. We are all God's children, we are one family...but, I believe that those who hate others cannot possibly love God. I hope, if anything can come out of all this, people will come to know the Lord.

Your writing provokes thought and this is good. I say, we must pray now and continuously for the Father to come; it is our only hope.

This is excellent. I like that it is like a story but still has the flare of a poem! It has good rhythm and the words tell a story of love, caring and wanting to share with the world.

Nice piece! Lots of thought went into your writing and it gets one thinking about friendship. It is good for all of us to review and know what we are willing to put on the line when its comes to friendship. We need to know what we are willing to do for a friend and be ready to take the steps.

Great writing,

In any case, I was with him all the way. Brought back memories of going to the circus.

Very nice. Thomas Wolfe said "You Can't Go Home Again". I say, thanks to our memories, we can if we want. I detect some sadness but I believe we grow from it and that is a good thing.

Love your poem...keep writing,

A nicely written poem for Halloween. I reminisce to the delights of the night; love the carving of pumpkins and of the laughter of children coming and going. Thanks you for the treat!
