Hi, Crissy!

Awwwwwwwwww! What a beautiful poem DEER HEARTS is! I love it! Have you seen the scenario you describe in real life, or just in the movies and your imagination? Whatever the case may be, your creative poetic description of your poem's subject matter allowed my heart to beat as one with your heart and the deers' hearts and feel all of the animal emotions they were feeling. Thank you for this wonderful gift. Great job, Crissy!!!

Hi, Tess!

WOW!!! I wonder who inspired this romantic story idea in you? Could it be some sweet guy you met on Writing.com who shared a real-life dancing studio experience with you? (Ha! Ha!) No matter! I am happy to inspire and stimulate your creative imagination, Tess! This is a GREAT LOVE STORY, and it blessed my heart to read it! You know, it would make a beautiful addition to all those Hallmark Channel love stories, if it was developed into a movie script and offered to them for consideration as a new, unique love story to film. Hallmark Channel fans, such as you and I, LOVE watching romantic love stories like this one is!!!

As always, of course, you'll need to do editing and punctuating work on it, but, WOW!!!, Tess, this love story is so sweet and captivating all the way through! I absolutely LOVED reading it!!! If you would like me to help you edit it and spruce it up for you, let me know. My one niece, Sarah, is also a writer, and has asked me to help her with editing and giving her feedback and help with a story that she's writing, and, of course, I said I would. Sarah loves writing fan fiction stories too, and has written several of them featuring the characters of one of her favorite series: DR. QUINN - MEDICINE WOMAN, which she has available to read on the Tumblr website under "SarahCHeard".

Well, I'll close this review with a GREAT BIG "GREAT JOB, TESS!" Loved, loved, LOVED this short story!!!

Another great, heartfelt expression of an emotional situation in rhyme, "Emoji"! You have a special gift for expressing the feelings a character feels when in a situation such as this, as well as, similar emotional situations that you have created poetry about so far. You are only 18, and you are on the road to enjoying a lifetime of creating memorable, significant, insightful poetry collections.

WOW! These are very thoughtful, beautiful, and heartfelt love song lyrics. Enjoyed seeing how you developed them as you went along. They could still use some more development, though, I feel, plus the correction of a few typos, such as the word "your" in this tense should be "you're" (for "you are", rather than "your" for "something that belongs to someone"). But, overall, a great beginning for a great love song!

Hi, Tess!

Enjoyed reading this heartfelt memory about your Mom. It touches every reader's heart, reminding them of how precious a gift from God a Mom can be in their lives, whether their Mom is still around, or has gone to be with the Lord like ours have. My Mom went to be with the Lord after slowly dying from Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma (which a type of cancer) back in January of 2001. Like your Mom, my Mom was always there for me as I went through all of the experiences I went through after getting "young people's arthritis" in 1963 at age 16. And when I became and adult and got my first apartment as a physically-challenged bachelor, we talked on the phone regularly, as well as still going out together on rides around Ohio and eating and talking about things in our lives at restaurants we stopped at. We had a close relationship and loved each other dearly. And when it was time for her to go to be with the Lord, I stayed with her in her room at the nursing home she was in, talking to her and loving her to pieces! She had become childlike in her mind because of the cancer's eating away inside her brain, not like the woman I knew for all the years of my life up to then, which was sad, but I knew that would only be temporary, and she'd be back to her "old, normal self" in Heaven, as she enjoyed being with the Lord there, doing the things all God's children do there, as they wait for their saved loved ones to join them. I miss hearing her voice on the phone and in person too, Tess, and treasure the memories of all the things we enjoyed doing together as Mother and son, through the "good times and the bad times". And I'm looking forward to all "the good times" waiting for us to share when we're reunited in Heaven and in "the new heavens and new earth" when it's time for that!

You did another GREAT JOB in writing this non-fiction family memory story, Tess! It just needs punctuation corrections in some places.

Hi, Teresa!

WOW!!! What a beautiful, romantic, and funny poem! You made me laugh with it, as you intentioned!

I've never walked along a beach barefoot with a gal, but I would LOVE to someday! I have to be careful walking in the sand and surf barefoot with my crutches, but I HAVE done that before when I was younger, in my 30s. My one grandma's sister and her husband used to have a summer vacation house in Dunedin, Florida, in the 70s. I visited with them there one spring in 1975, and Dunedin being on the western coastline of Florida, it has a beach to walk barefoot on. I enjoyed visiting that beach several times with them, dipping my bare toes in the sand and surf! What BAREFOOT FUN!!! But what I look forward to the MOST now, is being able to GO BAREFOOT on the beaches of this earth with a body like Jesus' body, WITHOUT crutches, after we come back with Him for the thousand year reign period when He and we do the reigning things we do here, before the final battle of Armageddon that has to take place and the new heavens and earth are created for all who will live THERE, enjoying going barefoot on the beaches and in the rivers and streams and wading pools that are a part of our living forever fun activities there!!! Also, I'll be able to enjoy horseback riding and other types of riding again! I imagine we'll have bikes and other types of vehicles there without pollution problems, besides walking around everywhere we go. Anyway, these are some of the thoughts this poem has brought to my mind. Its storyline would make a GREAT funny short story too, Teresa.

Great job!!!

WOW!!! and DOUBLE WOW!!!, K.M.!

You are on a ROLL with wonderful, enthralling, inspiring short stories here! Love how naturally you present the situations your characters experience. It's a JOY to experience the ups and downs of their lives, as well as, their faithful relationship with God with them. This is also another story I so easily relate to, having gone through similar situations and emotions with women I have loved and had to deal with the changing feelings of their love for me.

I'm looking forward to reading more well-written, encouraging, and inspiring short stories from you as you fill you portfolio with them and other writings! Another great, GREAT job, K.M.!!!

WOW! What an uplifting, encouraging, and inspiring short story, K.M.! And so true, emotionally, for many of God's children. I can relate so well to "Becky's" situation because of my own physical challenges, which include degrees of physical deformity that developed in my body over the years as a result of the "young people's arthritis" that my body developed when I was 16 years old. I know God sees ME as BEAUTIFUL too, even though many others haven't in my life, causing suffering through times of heartbreak and rejection, just like "Becky" experienced it. I look forward to the time that everyone will have beautiful, sin-nature free, gloried, perfect new, immortal bodies like our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ's, transformed human body.

Great, GREAT job on this short story, K.M.!!!

Hi, Bonnie!

WOW! Loved reading your poem about the fireflies being one beautiful sign from God that summer has arrived. It was unique and a blessing to read, Bonnie. I hadn't thought of doing a poem this way with the word FIREFLY's letters in bold type being the displayed vertically, its letters being the first letter of the first word of every line.

Great job, Bonnie!

Hi, Teresa!

You know I love horses too! And this is a beautiful signature of one. I'd like to start putting together a folder for signature images too. But I'm confused on how and where you go to choose images to purchase for signatures. I've never tried to do that before here. But I see a lot of the other writers here have their own signature images to use. I read somewhere here that you can buy those signature images with a certain number of gift points. How exactly does that work, Teresa? Right now, I have 38,000 gift points to use for whatever I choose to use them for. I haven't used gift points to buy anything yet, just for giving them as gifts to other writers when I write a review of their work. Please let me know how you got all your signature images. Thank you, Teresa!

Review of My third arm

Hi, Lola!

Having three real arms might take some getting used to, but it's true we could all use more hands, we think, sometimes, to get things done. So ... you've come up with a great little theme for a unique poem and I enjoyed reading it and noting how true its premise is. Even though, in reality, we don't have three real arms and hands, it's a blessing to have the real arms and hands of others to help us when we need their help, serving God in helping us, as we serve God in helping them when they need our help and we are able to help them.

Great job, Lola!

Hi, Sonya!

WOW! Right on! I hadn't thought of these truths before, so what a delight to discover this poem of yours in the Read A Newbie reading choices. You see all of these things happening in the eyes of characters in movies and TV series episodes, as well as, remembering feeling them in real life, having silent, emotion-filled conversations with a loved one with your eyes.

Great job, Sonya!

Hi, Roy!

A great poem about true love that says it all! I really enjoyed reading it, Roy. You know from reading my Word Search Puzzle intros that I love rhyming sentences. Your rhyming sentences in this love poem were fun to read and made me think this poem could also be developed into song lyrics if you decided to do so. They make me think of song lyrics I and others have written.

Great job, Roy!

Hi, Klazer!

I can relate to the musings of your heart in this poetic wondering. Most of us have been in such a relationship, such a love situation in our lives, where the prompting of this eternal question won't give us peace until we've been shown in a definite, unequivocal exposition that the answer to our uncertainty is yes ... yes, yes, YES! by the continued demonstration of everything loving our most precious loved one does for us to show us the depth of the love in their heart for us is real and lasting and not just a temporary, sweet but fragile, infatuation.

Great job, Klazer, on addressing this subject in your own unique poetic style!

WOW! What a beautiful story you have written! Thoroughly enjoyed reading it. Your word pictures helped to capture my attention as your story developed into its theme, keeping me enthralled and looking forward to what miracle rescue your seagull benefactor would perform in your life next. And I loved how your story ended with the peace and beauty of its one final rescue from the touch of painful circumstance.

Hi, Roy!

WOW! What a wonderful poem you wrote about the sea. It's something different, something beautiful. I found myself reflecting on every stanza about how true its perspective is.

I was also reminded of the times I enjoyed watching those Jacques Cousteau specials on TV about the seas of the world and exploring them with Jacques and his professional scientific crew. Thanks for prompting such pleasant memories, Roy, and giving me incentive to reflect on the multiple aspects of the sea God created.

Great job, Roy!!!

WOW!!!, Teresa!

What a beautiful Christmas memory piece you have written! I'm sure every reader will find it prompting memories of the host of Christmases in their lives, as it does for me. I never had a family of my own to share family Christmases with because my ex-wife and I couldn't have children of our own because of that being too dangerous for her, to become pregnant, because of her diabetes, the doctors told us. But we still enjoyed family Christmases together with my Mom and Dad when they were alive, along with my sister and brother and their families getting together with us. And before that, growing up, of course, my sister and brother and I shared plenty of great family Christmases with our parents, grandparents, and other relatives, at our home and/or visiting at Grandma and Grandpa's house in Michigan on Christmas Eve, having Christmas dinner together in their big basement, then opening presents all the relatives brought to open, before going home to open immediate family gifts on Christmas morning! I miss all of those types of Christmases, Teresa. My parents, grandparents, most aunts and uncles, and some other relatives are with the Lord now, and I'm usually spending my Christmases at home by myself watching Christmas movies on the Hallmark Channel on Christmas Day.

Another great writing job, Teresa! Really enjoyed reading what you wrote!

Hi, Teresa!

What a beautiful poem! I can relate sooooooooooooo well to its sentiments and dreamy looking forward to having that special someone come into your life to share the rest of your life with you, being happily married and sharing the blessings of God that such a special relationship knows!

I've known these joys for a period of time with two special women that God brought into my life to love, and, Lord Willing, I'm hoping to know it again with another special gal who will love me like the woman in your poem loves her future love.

Another great job, Teresa!

Hi, GirlwithaHeartbeat!

Great idea for a poem! Really enjoyed how you developed your idea into a special theme that related to your faith in the Lord. Hi, Ruwth!

I really enjoyed reading this look into what seeking God and having a relationship with Him means for everyone who does so. Of course, when we seek God and find Him we find He is God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit; we find that the word God is plural in its tense, because our Creators are these three holy, spiritual persons, not like it may sound, a single person, using the word God without an "s" on it, as our heavenly Father, Lord and Savior Jesus, and our Helper, the Holy Spirit do in all the various, reliable Bible translations from the original texts. So when we, as you know, seek God and find Him, we find we are blessed to get to know not one person as God, but three loving, holy persons, and develop a lifelong, wonderful, personal, loving relationship with each of Them. What a joy it is to enter into a relationship like this, when we have become saved by our faith in Jesus and what He and our heavenly Father and our Helper, the Holy Spirit each did to save us from our inhereted sin nature and its deathly physical and spiritual result!

Loved how you developed the theme and the points you wanted to make in this article, Ruwth! Great job!!!

Review of The River
Review by Steve McLean
In affiliation with WdC SuperPower Reviewers Group

Hi, Bonnie!

A good start to a short story I hope you will expand upon one day. Very easy to get caught up in and want to find out what's going to happen next.

Ironically, in real life, my ex-wife and I experienced a similar "scary edge of the river" scenario before we were married and were just close Christian friends. We are both physically-challenged and walk around on crutches, her with CP, me with arthritis. One summer, we took a trip together with another Christian friend to Front Royal, Virginia, to a Christian festival event named Fishnet. The campground where we stayed was beside a river. One day, we took a walk to look around and at the river. I didn't realize the embankment by the river was sort of slippery as it sloped down toward the river. Jeannie was't using crutches at that time but had a balance problem because of her CP. Because I was using crutches, I was able to dig my crutches in on a sturdier area of the ground, and have her hold onto my arm as we slowly backed up the little incline so that we didn't fall into the river we had started to walk down to so we could view it more closely. Jeannie was a little upset that we almost fell INTO that river, but we DIDN"T, thank God!!! And we remained good friends, even falling in love and getting married five years later. So, your short story reminded me of this riverside peril in MY life.

Great job, Bonnie!

Hi, Bonnie!

A great poem that I can relate to, being physically-challenged, and struggling with being so through the years of MY life since I became challenged at 16 years of age. Definitely LOTS of lessons in life to learn, whether physically-challenged or not, but being so does seem to create more UNIQUE heartaches, pain, and disappointments related to being so than those who aren't physically-challenged have experienced or can IMAGINE experiencing.

You expressed your particular experiences succinctly, Bonnie, in an easy to read and understand, easy to feel your feelings style.
