Great thought and truths here. I personally liked it. I don't feel it flowed as well as I would have liked, but that doesn't mean it wasn't good. It was quite good. When I read others work, I always look for a flow. Like the universe, everything has a rhythm, and so it is in writing, in my opinion. I am new at all this. I was encouraged to write and so it is I have come to this place upon recommendation. I feel we can all learn from one another. I most certainly feel I can learn from you. Write on! You have a gift! So this is what a 'blog' is?! I found myself getting dizzy as I read your schedule, however, you have one like mine. Well...at least my schedule was like that. I decided to plant both feet on the ground for a bit, before taking off again. In fact...now that I think about it....I don't think I will go anywhere at all. I really like this...It spoke volumes of truth and rang out with emotions that truly touch my heart. Without reading this, this thought of veterans being forgotten tears at my heart. I have enjoyed this...it flowed well and was a story that captured my interest. Ironic how this particular tree was chosen, and the flowers take the shape they do. I do have a question...I noticed that the first paragraph you referred to 'She' and it wasn't until the second paragraph that you identified your character with a name of 'Grace'.
