Almost a poetic mantra. The guilt interwoven in the fabric of the quilt. The hands as well as the mind needing to be occupied and soothed at the same time. A very nicely penned thinking piece. Simply worded as it should be and an interesting poem to ponder. It was a pleasure to peruse this one. Thanks for sharing.

A very informative piece about Petrarchan sonnets. It is interesting to peruse the many and varied flavors of poetry and often stimulates new thoughts and nuances in poetic form. I shall check your port for an example. Thanks for sharing this post and your offer to read one at your port.

Review of Tagaytay

Tagaytay sounds like a wonderful place to live and you have not only given us a photo but have made us feel like we were there through your eloquent description of the island. Your observations of life in a tourist stop and the occasional hard ships it creates on the roads is worth it. Thanks for sharing.

Your couplets are not only exquisite but elegant in their content. The poem flows effortlessly through the entire work and leaves the reader feeling good at its conclusion. I loved the eternity line especially. It is an eloquent poem and a pleasure to peruse. Thanks for sharing.

Perfection is elusive and seldom seen. I absolutely loved this peek into your beginning novel. Keep looking for the perfection in life and in your novel. If you find it let us know. Your writing was a pleasure to peruse and fairly eloquent. Keep at it and keep reading as they are the gateways to success. Thanks for sharing.

If a person had just one wish I would say happiness of the spirit. To me everything else is consequential and life is but fleeting for us all. I liked your poem very much as it makes us take an introverted gaze into out own being, very nicely thought out and a pleasure to read. Thanks for sharing.

This was both eloquent and elegant in it'e beautiful description. The details lead the reader through a titillating sensory journey of the summer storm. I always liked the summer rain and the occasional thunder and lightning that often accompanies it. Well worded and a pleasure to peruse. Thanks for sharing.

Review of Forgotten Gift

With all the shopping and commercialization of the Christmas holiday it is a wonder if most people even care what the holiday is supposed to represent. The season is a chance for everyone to take the time to stop and celebrate the birth of the most unique human beings ever born. Maybe this year they'll take the time? Very well penned.

Review of The Masterpiece

Ah, to ingrain such a vocabulary in the synapses of the brain must be the dream of every writer and poet. Your ending about picking up the novel is always the right path to increasing ones vocabulary or at least I always thought so. Maybe someday there will be a pill for that also. Interesting piece. Thanks for sharing.

Review of Case Closed

It sounds to me like Jeffrey made out rather well through out this delightful Halloween yarn. It left me wondering though about the fates of Dudley and Dad and their plans for payback. Jeffrey may be in for a nasty surprise! In the meantime what happened to poor Davy who apparently had no candy either? Nicely penned short story and can be easily expanded on. Thanks for sharing.

They always say practice makes perfect. Your rhyming couplets resound that message very clearly. A well penned shorty with spelling and grammar right on. I was only slightly put off by the language in the end as it surprised me. I wasn't expecting it from you. Then again if Charles Bukowski can get away with it then so shall we all. Keep writing and sharing.

I loved your inspiring thoughts one through ten. I think most of us probably fit more then just one of these during our lifetimes. I like to think I'm a ten now but realize I have been a two and three at different times in the past. This was a delightful and well thought out piece. Thanks for sharing.

An elegant and well drafted piece with excellent visuals and use of adjectives. It is a pleasure to peruse such a well penned poem. It is the seemingly mundane tasks that often collectively add up to life. We don't pay very much attention to them but they are an integral part of all our lives. Thanks for sharing.

Life is full of mistakes and this poem does an excellent job of bringing that fact to light. Very nice work on this brief look into the shadows of defeat and loneliness. It shows the heartaches life occasionally asks us to deal with and the long road to recovery. Thanks for sharing.

An eloquently penned poem with powerful imagery. An excellent poem for the thinker. The ending two lines I liked the best. It was a pleasure to peruse this fine work of art. A very nice touch of genius and class. It's briefness being the genius. Thanks for sharing and keep them coming.

Your wonderful poem caught my attention with its delightful look into politics and the old school feel. A well crafted piece and a pleasure to peruse. I usually don't get too excited by the political arena and the gladiators therein. This proved to be an excellent journey and brain candy for the astute. Thanks for sharing.

Bravo and a very well executed piece of prose. It is quite refreshing to see something of this caliber posted and a pleasure to peruse. Your wonderful description places the reader right beside the runner in his youth. He has no experience with the trials of adulthood and feels just the warmth and joy of life. Keep sharing and writing.

A wonderful and lighthearted poem about a trip to the zoo. It was a pleasure to peruse this simply worded and elegantly rhymed poem. It was masterfully penned and would make a good children's book with some added illustration. Spelling, grammar and punctuation looked good. Keep writing and sharing.

It's knowing no matter what happens you always have someone you care very deeply for in your corner. It's someone who, with one single look, lets you know everything is going to be ok. Someone who loves you as much as you love them and will always be there when you need them.

This made one of my neural connections fire. Bob Dylan once wrote " He not busy bein born is busy dyin" Every I like to think every life is like a passenger with a ticket on a train bound for Death some of us get off early and some of us have a much longer ride. This was an excellent thinking piece. What happens in between is up to the ticket holder. Thanks for sharing.

Nice work on the Shakespearian sonnet my friend. Pain does remind one of the tides and natures continual battle. Tides, wind, weather, seasons and on and on. I very much liked the connection to pain. I've had first hand experience with my old friend pain. Excellent writing and true to form. Thanks for sharing.

A very well crafted poem and a pleasure to peruse. It caries some biblical similarities in a sense that Moses and Jesus were both shepherds of men and women. Wording well thought out and punctuation spot on. It also follows the seasons of both nature and man. Thanks for sharing, Dave.
