Review of Hidden Lives
Rated: E | (4.5)
Great! I absolutely loved the twist at the end especially, and was held in delightful suspense throughout the piece, despite its brevity. Actually, I also really enjoyed how brief it was - it added to its intensity. It could perhaps use a little more detail (how did they end up specifically in a coffin? or was this metaphorical?) for total satisfaction, but it is so enjoyable as is. Well done.

Review of Love No More.
Rated: E | (2.5)
First - never criticize yourself so. Confidence goes a long way in a writer's work - the reader can see it, feel it, if you have no faith in your own ability. Trust yourself! The more you do, the better your writing will become, naturally evolving into something mature and fantastic.

Second - maturity is what your poetry lacks, simply from inexperience I think, because you have a very good grasp of the rhythm of poetry and this was enjoyable to read for that. Your hesitance is clear in the choice of words, 'safe' if you will, but still I liked this. It has a bare honesty to it that I found promising. Be fearless when you put pen to paper. Keep writing!

I love this work, to begin, for its complex beauty and relentless imagery. Reading it reminds me of the first time I read 'Beowulf', and the way it fascinated me, entranced me, drawing me in with its words that tumbled so perfectly over one another to tell a story. It also reminds me of the work of Tanith Lee (an absolute favorite fantasy author of mine) - dark, ethereal fantasy delicately-laced with lovely phrasing that inspires the mind to high places. Depth.

In constructive criticism I could only say that there were times when I felt the rhythm was perfect, and other times when I felt that it was struggling with itself. So many of the lines are fantastic, and flow together flawlessly, while there are others that aren't quite right. Fantastic work though - I certainly look forward to reading more from you!
