Two wrongs, much less three, four, or countless wrongs... don't make right. That is what I have heard many a mother say...

*Heart**Heart*Maybe we should all listen to our Mother's*Heart**Heart*

I have heard it said, "Might Makes Right." Is that why there is an Arms Race?

*Right**Idea*My bomg is bigger than your bomb*Idea* *Left*

The "Might Makes Right" statement sounds a little like the kids on the playground saying, "My daddy can whip your daddy..." And that certainly is not a proper way to settle any conflict.

So, the question begs to be asked, "Just because we can, should we?"

And I have usually discovered that the well thought out answer is, "No."

But, then again I am not a politian or have a personal or profitable agenda. So, what is your answer to the question, and "Why?"

Sincerely,

There are people on Writing.Com who would actually try to cheat the system *Question*

Don't tell me things like that *exclain* Writing.Com is my perfectly heavenly place in an imperfect evil world full ugly, evil, greedy people *Exclaim* Oh no, don't tell me that the ugly, evil, greedy people are finding their way here too*Question* *Cry*

It seems to me, if you need anything here all you have to do is enter a contest and try to win it, and if that does not work, then just ask for it, or put it in your wish list, or get some trusting, generous soul to start a collection. *Bigsmile**Laugh**Cool*

What a wonderful place Writing.Com truly is *Bigsmile*

Review of Lies
Review by The Critic
Rated: E | (4.5)
Personally I think that your poem speaks volumes considering the well demonstrated value placed on truth by the current President and his administration. I am sorry to use your poem to make a political statement, but this is what I thought of as I read it.

And all of you that intend to vote for Bush this November, and you know who you are, will you ever see the truth hidden by the lies? It has just been revealed that Bush has retained a "personal" attorney in the event he is questioned or called to testify in regards to the CIA or FBI operative's name being leaked to the media. You remember the woman who was married to a former Ambassadore who was critical of the Bush administration. Now ask yourself, why does the President need a "personal" attorney since he promised to get to the bottom of it? What is he hidding and why?

Bravo, wordsy *Exclaim* Great poem. I am not sure that you need all the color changes for effect. Your words are glaring; full of the stark reality concerning LIES that are told.

Sincerely

While your letter is well written and reads as sincere, I am not rating this on mechanics. My rating is based solely on the fact that you state that you intend to vote for Bush in November.

I do not have time this morning to properly demonstrate to you why your voting for Bush would be a very serious mistake, but there is enough information already available that if you would take the time to hear and read what has already been proven as true beyond a shadow of a doubt, then you would know that a vote for Bush would be a horrible and tragic thing for America. I truly regret that you are not able to clearly see for yourself that the current administration is taking America down several paths that are giant leaps and bounds backwards in regards to our National economy, International relations, and Constitutional Freedoms, among other things.

I pray that you will educate yourself before the November elections, and if you still intend to vote for George W. Bush in November, then I can only hope that you are unable to physically get to the polls because you can't afford the price of gas, or you are too weak because you cannot afford food because of the price increase due to the rising cost of fuel to truck food around the country, or that your finger prints were misidentified by the FBI and you were detained due to the Patriot Act, or you lost your job due to your company deciding to relocate on foreign soil, or you are having to attend a court martial of a young, low-ranking soldier that was only following orders approved by the current administration, yada yada yada. God help us.

Good Morning,

Don't you just hate those deceptive marketing techniques? The poem you wrote is an excellant example of why telemarkets are a special breed of tormentors, and their tactics are the supreme reason for why the DO NO CALL list is so overwhelming popular. *Bigsmile*

Good luck on your entry into the

Thank you for this poem *Exclaim* What an excellant description in wonderful poetic form. Bravo *Exclaim*

I pray that we will go on -- regardless of how deep and treacherous the waters of life prove to be.

I absolutely love your description of this poem: "This is about as poetic as bipolar gets."

Sometimes professional journals contain poetry. My best suggestion is that you contact some of them that address this condition and submit it for publication. I am sorry that I don't have specific publications to suggest to you but I am adding you to my list of authors and when I have the opportunity to get my hands on some of them I will send you the information.

Again *Heart*Thank You*Heart*

I venture to guess that the 37 percent that voted for other maybe thinking about Bush and his gang. As the President of the United States of America, the greatest and most powerful nation in the FREE world today he is responsible for proving to many nations that we really are "ugly Americans". Since you included Saddam Hussein in this poll it is my opinion that you should have included Bush. After all Bush is responsible for removing him as dictator of his country. Now it is beginning to sound like Bush and his gang are fixing to invade Cuba and replace Castro. Yep, you should have included Bush. Just my opinion but you did ask.

Well, I certainly googled it after stumbling across a review of your poll on the public reviewing page. I am amazed at the eternal spawn and sprawl of organized religions. And here is yet another one to add to the never ending list. Can anyone tell me how many wars have been fought and how many lives lost while claiming to defend the honor of a one true God?

I see all the song titles, and sadly I must admit that I remember them. You tied them into this story very well. Did you write this for your own amusement, was it for a contest, or a prompt from another members challenge? I am eternally curious. Do I need to apologize?

Cute, Cute story *Exclaim* Such wonderful detail. While it is a fact that olfactory memories are the strongest, I wonder what my granddaughter will remember when this babyboomer gets old... if I live long enough to really get old. *Laugh*

Bravo! All of you are such brave and tireless souls. Here is my contribution (9,510 gps) to support another worthy project on Writing.com. The constructive reviews that I have personally received make me appreciate the effort that will be put forth by the Reviewers Committee to take notice and reward the reviewers. I personally try to send gps to the most helpful and constructive reviews that I receive, but all to often the same reviewers send me more gps than I send them. Therefore, I think this is a marvelous idea! Thanking you in advance for your hard work and dedication to the members of Writing.com.
