Review of Creativity

I found this on Read a Newbie and this is the first time I have read a prose. I'm not entirely sure why, perhaps I just didn't know what it was and just stayed away from them but this is a great analogy of a writer's mind and any other student of the arts. Thanks for the read.

If this is real life I am sorry for you. She sounds funny though and yes us women have a tendency to do most of those things. I for one do not try on my clothes every month in fear I wouldn't fit in to most of them. As for the back taxes, wow, my husband would probably divorce me. Good luck!

I love this and yes I have experienced a couple of these unfortunate events. The dark barfing for one and anything that would deal with animal excretions would definitely be a bad day. I would have to disagree with the thunder storm one though. I love storms and even though it would make it a lazy day of staying in doors definitely not a bad one for me.

Review of Strain
Rated: ASR | (4.0)
I found this on 'random review' and when I read sci-fi comedy I was a little unsure but I was consumed by the story. I was wondering where the comedy came in and was kind of blind sided by the end. I read it a couple of times to make sure that was a joke or not but I got it. Some times it takes me a minute. I have no corrections for this piece and I enjoyed reading it.

Review of No U-Turn
Rated: E | (5.0)
There were some great words of wisdom from many different people including yourself. I totally agree when you said 'success typically results in more work." After I got pregnant with my second child I almost gave up the job I was in. I had a small child at home already (only 1 year old) and I knew carrying the extra hours and not being home with my children would hurt. So I quit and got a part time job but there is still something missing from my crazy life and I think it is something I can be proud of that I did myself. I am very proud of my children and the house me and my husband are buying but something still gets under my skin. Maybe it's weight? I like reading things like this as it makes me reflect on my own life.

Thanks for the read :)

A great sense of what happened that day. I don't remember anything that I did before that moment but I was in high school, my freshman year. We were in the gym not doing anything because the teacher never showed up, it came over the intercom. I even remember the people I was with. It's weird how you remember exactly what you were doing at the moment it happened.
As to your writing, I found nothing wrong with it, grammatically or otherwise. It was a good read.

Review of The Eagle
Rated: E | (4.0)
Found this on a random read. I like it a lot and I think it says a lot being a haiku. I have not read one since high school when we had them for an assignment and never really thought of reading them on here. I like the depth of it, the lonely eagle - how it used to be an endangered animal. high above the world below - always see their nests high in trees and rarely do you see them on the ground. an observant eye - something I would correlate more with owls but still a nice observation.

Review of What If
Rated: 13+ | (5.0)
Love it. To me it doesn't even matter if there is punctuation missing or misspelled words because it's someones journal. To me there is not enough novels or works in general like this. Almost everyone as read the diary of Anne Frank and I remember being young and reading a novel where a young boy I think is writing but I can't remember what it is called. Maybe it was letters to someone? Anyway can't love this enough. Keep going!

Review of Empty Road Edited
Rated: E | (2.5)
This story ended up surprising me. I did feel like the beginning was a little slow and wordy and it almost lost my attention until the twist that this town is supposedly the only one left. There were a couple of small words left out such as in the sentence "I began to wonder if Emma is fugitive of some kind" should be is a. Other than that I enjoyed the ending and am intrigued to read more. Keep writing and I hope my review helps :)

Review of Poetry
Rated: E | (5.0)
I don't often read poetry pieces but for some reason I opened this one and I loved it! I love the ending "Therefore life is poetry." I don't have any suggestions on how to improve since I don't write poetry either however, I don't think it needs any improvement. Good luck in everything and thanks for opening me up to poetry.

Review of Ella and the Moon
Rated: E | (4.0)
I enjoyed this story a lot. It's a little off-putting to read in one big block paragraph but no big deal. There seemed to be a lot of fragmented sentences or perhaps too many commas for me but other then that it was great. I liked the picture it painted in my mind :)
