Hi Michaelmountain:spring hope . This is a review from Looking Ahead on "God's Poem" ! After reading "God's Poem" I have the following comments to offer.
First Impression:
I enjoyed the basis of the plot. I have felt like this at many points in my life, and understand how one can feel so out of sorts, yet so in touch with their Lord. He can be right their beside them, and millions of miles away. Sometimes we connect, and other times....we...just don't. I'm sorry you've faced this problem; I have also.
Suggestions:
Instead of an essay format, with the name being "God's Poem," I would try to put it in a poem of sorts. I understand your reasoning; the whole story is you cannot find the rhymoe or reasoning in your life. However, if you started in rhymore, went to free-verse, followed in couplets or limericks, and kept getting on and off track, I seriously think this would truly make your point more than an essay would. If you choose to end it in a poem, it would show you found your way. Ending it choppy would show you still were not sure.
Punctuation/Spelling/Grammar:
Beginning of paragraph 2: "The work workmanship". Is this supposed to say The WORD workmanship? Just questioning to make sure.
Things I Like:
I adore the basis of your story! As I said before, I completely have been there, and have gone through this. I also deal with many thyroid problems, along with other issues. I will include you on my prayer list, as I know how thyroid problems can take a lot out of a person.
A Review on the Piece:
"God's Poem", by Frontierman, is a beautifully written piece on our relationship with God during some of the hardest times of our lives. We are taught as children that we are made perfect by our Lord as He is perfect, yet, we realize as we grow older, that we have imperfections; we grow ill, and eventually, we will die. This at some point in our life puts a strain on our relationship with our Father in Heaven, and we have to figure out how to come to a sonnata in our prayer with him, instead of a free-verse.
Outstanding, Frontierman, for helping to lead us back to our Father! No more limericks, satires, or free-verses; now to the couplets, sonnatas, and poetry that makes our lives complete.

Frontierman, as you can tell, I LOVE it, just think it needs...something. If you want me to re-review it for a different rating, re-send it, and I'll leave the review at the bottom alone unless I think I can add something to it to make it better for you.
Keep Rockin! LookingAhead
