I thought it was a wonderful story with several very interesting sections concerning just how addicted we all are to our technology. I've seen people sending texts to a person in the same room with them, or not wanting to put down their phone for five minutes because they might miss something. I would have loved to know more about the other key characters of their survival group, but overall I think it was enough to make people sit and reflect for a time. You do paint a very clear picture of just how much people have forgotten what it's like to actually sit face to face with a person and just talk about what happened in their lives that day without focusing and worrying on something that happened a thousand miles away. Thank you for this piece and I look forward to reading others of yours in the future.
