I just realized how many people are on writing dot com. I wrote a song, then 5 miniutes later I went to the lyrics page, I didn't find it until I got to the third page! That means that there are so many people that 2 pages of songs were filled up in 3 minutes!
You can't know what's inside someone's home if the doors are closed. I ask that every writer for Writing.Com open up and let people see what story lies inside of us. Writing.Com is a miracle for everyone writer.
I found this site just browsing aroung the internet. I love to write so I decided to see if there was a writing.com site. Lucky for me this is a great site where I feel my work is kept safe from copyright. I would do the online poems contest, but I don't feel like my poem would be safe from copyright. I love this site and the people. Keep writing!

Wow! I never thought that i would stumble upon a writing site that has so many people sharing their personal life and thoughts. It really makes me happy to see poetry being used as tool for expression. i hope to be on this for many years to come thank you so much!!!!!
I love Writing.com. I haven't been on for all that long, but I have to get on everyday because there is alwys something new. I love to write, but I could never find a really good writing website, until I came here. I love it. I can post my work and get feedback from others who are like me. I wish I would have found this site five years ago, but man I sure am happy I found it now. Writing.com is the best site ever.
As I make my way around WDC, I am finding myself completely engrossed in the endless amount of activity. The members I have encountered so far are all extremely nice and helpful, and I appreciate it. It makes me feel welcome, part of a family. Thank you!
My love for writing has always been there, but I didn't do much about it... until last night when I joined Writing.Com. I found it randomly, posted 6 of my essays, have already gotten 3 reviews, lots of ratings and gift points from other authors. I'm happy there are people out there reading my mind through my texts. Writing.com is a wonderful inspiring tool.
I just want to send a big thank you to writing.com. I honestly don't remember how I came across it 2 years ago. What I do know is that since I have joined, my writing skills have dramatically improved. I always considered publishing some of my work but it took the encouragement and support of the writing.com community to give me enough confidence in my writing to take steps towards that dream. Thank you so much.
Happy Birthday WDC. We love you. Speaking for myself, being on this site, home away from home, its a Birthday everyday. Why? Because since joining this wonderful site, I have met the most wonderful, talented friends that I know will last a life time. That is a gift that will keep on giving. So, WDC, I hope and pray that ten, fifteen, twenty years from now, we will be saying this on a yearly basis: HAPPY BIRTHDAY WDC! Ever since joining WDC, I've become Addicted. Addicted to the friendships that I have made here. I know several will last a lifetime.

This place is all I think about; my animals are jealous; my husband's jealous. How can I go out there and find a job when I have Poetry to write and someone else's to Review? This is my home away from home, home inside my home.

I dream of this site. It has literally taken over my life, LOL. I don't know whether to be mad, or sad or what.

But I will thank you anyway, WDC. For the gift of friendship that keeps on giving ~ ~ I can't thank enough for that.
Before I found Writing.com I was looking for a place for others to review my work. I was into writing Twilight Zone style pieces and I couldn't find a single place to post my work for reviews. Then somehow like magic I came across Writing.com. It was like a dream come true! I signed up and put many stories in my port. I loved the reviews I got and the people I met. I became addicted full force. I was constantly writing stories and participating in the community. The people at Writing.com gave me such insight into my work. I learned so much from the other members here. I want to thank Writing.com for this wonderful website. Not only have I become a better writer, but I've made many friends since I’ve joined. Thanks again!
I found my way to WDC two and a half years ago, whilst looking for inspiration. I needed somewhere to learn about the mechanics of writing and whether I could do it. Since joining the site I have learnt that I can't "become" a writer, it is what I am already. Writing is not about talent or success it is about passion. Now that I am here, I am staying. Thank you everyone at Writing.com.
I'm thrilled to have found Writing.Com! Finally, an outlet for my stories and ideas. The reviewers have been helpful and honest; and being a reviewer gives me a chance to encourage someone toward their dream of being a writer too. Keep up the good work!
I love writing.com, what else could I say? I don't even remember how I stumbled across this fantabulous site, but it has intensely increased my both talent and love of writing. It helped me make my schools writing team, and helped me win some ribbons by using it's helpful community to give me advice and suggestings. All I can say is, without writing.com I would never be so in love with writing.
I haven't been on this site long but I love it, I have got some great feedback from a great community of users, the staff are great and friendly plus I even got an Upgraded Membership from an Anonymous member, how generous are they? (Thanks to whoever it was). This site is easy to use and best of all, it's free for anyone to join but if you want some even greater features, upgrade. I suggest going Professional so you can get Audio, that's my dream. Thanks everyone at writing.com.
I'm not exactly sure how I discovered Writing.com. I think it was somewhere along the lines of accidental and sheer dumb luck. Whatever the case, I'm serioulsy glad I did. I haven't been a member for very long, but already I realize how beneficial writing.com is. Here is a place where I can make friends and have my writings taken seriously. I can get sincere reviews to better my work, and I can also help to better someone else's work through my review of what they write. This site is one place you have to join. It's worth it.
If it wasn't for WDC I would have had nothing to do all of those cold and lonely nights. I love reading other members, and getting reviews. I got to share the story of my daughter's birth, and I was very happy with the respectful and kind remarks...along with all the congrats. It made me feel great! Thank you for making such a wonderful place to be. Though I am new, I feel as if I have been an old friend to all on this site.

I really can't say anything that hasn't already been said, but Writing.com is pure magic. I have always strugled with showing others my work, but here I have a place where other writers can see my work and give input. It's wonderful and so far I havent fouwnd another sight as awsome.
I didn’t always have a lot of confidence in my writing, but always loved to write. I found Writing.com one night while surfing the web for credible sites to help improve my skills. What I found was more than I thought I would get. Since then my confidence has grown and even won a few ribbons/awards for my work. The other authors on the site are sincere, encouraging and most of all helpful in their reviews. Reviewing is one part of the community’s efforts to help expand the individual’s talents as well as their own. It’s a win-win home for writers of all genres and forms. If you love to write and interact, this is the place to be.
I joined WDC several months ago, and only in the last 4 weeks have I become an active participant in all that is going in here. I have been inspired, even rewarded for my own works. I have recieved numerous reviews and have learned from all of them, This site rocks. Keep up th egood work.
I've been writing for as long as I can recall. For a long time after I graduated, I had no one with whom I could share the excitement of my craft. With Writing.com, I have found more than this. I have found a community of people who are always supportive, friendly, and ready to show all the newbies the ropes. I have never felt so completely accepted for who I am. In the two weeks I've been a part of this amazing group of creative minds, I've already become fully involved in so many ways. I would recommend this website to anyone who shares a passion for this type of creative expression. You will LOVE it!
I once was a member of another site. It was a place much like WDC, and I enjoyed the site very much. One day I woke up, went to the computer and set out to log into my account and wouldn't you know it, the whole site had changed. I could no longer access the site so I was basically locked out. For the longest time I searched for another place to keep the creative juices flowing, read others work, and give reviews. Finally I found you! In a matter of days you have made life so much better for me. I need WDC, thank God you are here.
I could write for hours simply ABOUT writing.com, but that would vacate my time that I use to write stories!
I was bored, surfing through the internet as usual, looking for something good to read. That's how I stumbled on WDC.

Not only did WDC allow me to read wonderful stories and poems, have fun entering contests and making friends who share the same interests; WDC awoke a sleeping dream in me, to become a published writer one day.

I had discarded this dream, as a kid long ago. I thought it was "impossible".But now... WDC is my candle of HOPE burning bright, with every word I write.

Cheers to WDC!
At the last moment, I found something that I love to do: Write. I am not Margaret Mitchell (the author of Gone with the wind), but I’m working on it. I have looked at many writing websites. I always come home to Writing.com. The other authors not only rate, but actually write comments, necessary feedback from peers. Sometimes they spot that nasty typo that ruins your project. The appearance of Writing.com is that of a warm library, full of knowledge and hope for the future. This is a home for all types of authors to create and learn. Thank you Writing.com.
I discovered http://www.Writing.com some months ago; recently I tried the one month free membership offered to everyone, and I was impressed with the scope of the website: the writing helps, the poetry review subsystem, and the email account--and much, much more--in your membership package. Writing.com has several levels of membership, and I chose the "upgraded level", which is expanded and has many practical features, including unlimited email folders; also this level is very cost effective and is the most popular among casual, but serious, users of the website--give http://www.Writing.com a try, and I am sure you will be permanently impressed, and sign up as a member, as I did.
