Understanding Love

This explains how love is surreal for me everyday

For so long I wondered, for so long I ran,
Unable to believe in my feelings again,
Now that you've helped me to be a true man,
All that I need is our love to believe in.

When I'm near you I have no doubt,
What it was all the fuss was about,
Not everybody can float on a cloud,
I was paying no attention, did we draw a crowd?

I know our forever will be
filled with moments like this,
Spending all these magical moments
together, with nothing to miss,
Forgetting about everything and
everyone for a moments bliss,
Eternity is much better now that
I've been granted my wish.

It's good to understand what true love is,
By now I have overcome all my ignorance,
I can't help but stare when I catch a glance,
You might not know but I like watching you dance,
This has to be real, it can't be happenstance,
Feels too true to be merely a coincidence.
