Written for my love, always may he know I love him.

Without a pause, nary a thought
A heart flies from its cage, iron wrought.
So long it had held the bars so dear
Not taking the leap, succumbing to fear.
But now I look on my love with tear-filled eyes
As his arms wrap around me, my heart drops its guise.
