About the pain of mixed emotions

My mind is in utter turmoil
Feelings are tearing it apart
And that is almost nothing
To the suffering of my heart

How was I supposed to know
That happiness could cry?
But here I am, confused and sad
So happy I want to die

I feel miserably wonderful
From all this love and pain
With every breath I think inside
I'm blissfully insane
