A poem about the state of the world.. i'm quite proud of it actually.


The world's no longer beautiful
A breeding pit of lies
When all around there's hatred
You ask why children cry.

What's happened to the world?
The innocence has gone
And so, it seems, has happiness
When hate's no longer wrong.

What happens to us now?
Our lives are so much worse
And too much war and torment
Has trailed behind the hearse.

Now it's the end of Earth,
The war to end all wars
All hope is lost, as evil rules
And love will reign no more.
