Red cheeks
Smiles and laughter
Sunshine amidst a blue sky
Water rippling
A backdrop
to an almost summer
Trees bare
waving in the wind
Birds gather along the shore
The seagull song
Lull the lapping water
Dripping sun
As shadows grow long
against the ground
As night overcomes day.
