all of me (a poem)

This is a poem, i didn't have to think about, it just came.

All of Me


I gave you my heart,
You never sent it back to me.

I gave you my soul,
You only returned a little piece.

I let you into the depths of my mind,
You wiped it clean till there was no where to hide.

I gave you all the love I had inside,
You took it all, left no remains.

I gave you all the dreams I had within me,
You kept them all just out of reach.

I gave you my trust, I gave you my time,
But you didn't leave anything behind.

I gave you everything that I could give,
But still you left me in the dust,
With just one lonely life to live.
