A Beginning

Intro to a story I am writing

Upon once happened
Something small and light
Fluid in its grace
And blinding in flight

Lost within time
Something tall and bright
Lacking in its faith
And falling far from sight

Gone now the things we loved
Returned to a sleepless night
Pursuing untold fancy
And ignoring our own plight
