A freeverse poem that has been said to be "deep." What do they mean?
Have you ever felt...
That no matter what you do
Something goes wrong

Have you ever felt...
That no matter how you try to change something
It always happens the way you don't want it to

Have you ever felt...
The despair in leaving friends
When you may never see them again

I've heard of people who feel these too often without support
Together or apart
And I sympathize and understand
Despite my advantage with someone to help

Have you ever felt...
That no one listens to you
Though they say that they always would

Have you ever felt...
That you listen
And yet no one will talk to you

Have you ever felt...
That you are open-minded
But everyone else is too judgemental to care

These make you think
"What can I do?"
And most close themselves

Close themselves to everyone
Everything
And the answer itself

Everyone whines
"It's not my fault"
But enough feel deeply that it is

Enough to help
Almost everybody
Even everybody in some cases

But some that choose to help
Are at a fault themselves
"Why?" you ask

They force you to put yourself
Into physical ruin
To pull yourself out of mental ruin
That will return when you return home

Why do I say this?
This is how I feel
In regard to those...

Those who don't help
Those who think they help
Those who truly help
And those who need help

Everybody needs some support
Those who show it
And who need it the most:
Those who are forced to hide it

Have you ever felt...
That this suffering is unnecessary?
