A brief metaphorical poem on love |
| Tiny promises take flight from within an ivory castle, Flowing so melodically down the stream of words. Sprouting wings, they soar through the air like arrows Narrowing in on targets not yet seen or heard. Beating hearts now beckon to each other Quietly at first, then louder, drowning out the world. Love has struck and now the world goes blurry As bliss replaces the reality that once reigned. |
