Just Watching

This is one of my favorite poems

Have you ever seen the sky crying?
Did you want to wipe away the tears?
Have you ever wondered why the weeping willow's sighing?
Did you want to ask why it keeps fighting?
Me, I'm just watching
I see the world go 'round.
Me, I'm just waiting
Wishing things would settle down.
Have you ever seen a shooting star falling?
Wished on it for luck?
Have you ever wondered if maybe,
That star just decided to give up?
Have you ever wanted to stop the world?
To freeze time for a moment or two?
Make things a little bit better.
If not to anyone else, at least to you.
Me, I'm just watching
Mostly because I don't know what to do.
