Diamonds

I feel safe at your side
Beaming with joy and pride
Sorted to the person I love
Gazing at the stars above

Gently placed upon yourself
Guided through the days
Shaded in different colors
Heading for the lighter ways

Trembling with the single thought
Is it me or is it not
Trusting choices made by heart
Dreading not to break apart

Sneaking up to your brain
Cleaning up all your pain
Knowing you’re there for me
Let it be as it came to be

Passing by the big brick walls
Set up to stop our calls
Nobody can take away
What I have felt to this day

Like a chest kept inside
I break away just to hide
Being pulled out of my hole
I know you are my fulfilled soul

There you hold your arms around
The girl that you have safely found
As I looked into your eyes, you told me
“Stop being shy and be my diamond.”
