Be content with who you are, and what you have.
I once asked myself, Am I all that I can be?
Am I happy with being me?

In school, I could have studied harder and read more books,
Or maybe had some plastic surgery, to change my looks,

And became a famous model, a singer, a star,
Then people would recognize me near and far.

I dreamed of becoming a famous activist,
How about a writer, with books on the best sellers list?

It would have been nice to travel the world,
and make an impression some how,
I'd meet people like, The Queen, Oprah, and the first lady,
If only to take a bow.

But thankfully, I'm blessed with a loving family, and a real zest for life,
I became a grandma, a mother, and oh yes,
I'm even somebody's wife.

With each day that I'm allowed to wake,
I'm never to busy to stop and take,
a moment to thank God for this precious gift,
of my life.

My life is busy, it's full, it's interesting,
and if I could live my life over again, I wouldn't change a single thing,
about my life.

So now again, I ask myself,
Am I all that I can be?
And my answer is,
I'm all that I am,
I'm happy just being me!
