Silently I've prayed all day
A litany of your name desperately bemoaned
Inside my head
My heart aching
Pleading for the phone to ring
I can't breathe
My chest engulfed in pain
Longing to hear your soothing tone
You scare me
I can't possibly yearn so soon
Yet it's been three days and seven hours
Since you left, blissful in sensuality
A millstone smothers me
Anxiety takes over my lungs
I'm underground
My phone has lost its power
Have I missed his call
Please God, let me hear his voice
So I can dream
