This Life

I thank God for this life,
I've been given to use.

I hope I've used it as I'm suppose to,
I know I haven't done the best, but I do believe,

There's something more I can do,
to touch the life of a broken few.

You don't have to be afraid of the God who cares.
He hears your cries and collects every tear.

Now I've had my share of heartache,
but none compares when you view His son's life he gave for you.

He knew we weren't perfect, and gave us a chance to choose.

Though people fail us, He won't give up one you.

Now thank God for this life, difficult as it may be.

God gave you hope and one day you'll be set free!
