Everyone should write a love letter once in a while...
My Dearest Love,
Thank you again, for writing back so soon. My eyes were beginning to yearn for your next written words, as this is the only available form of contact we currently have. I hope to remedy that some day soon. To hear your kind voice, see your handsome face once more.
I miss it, and all of its qualities. The shade of your very lashes, that first caught my attention, and your soulful eyes themselves. That ridiculous nose, with the bump in it, from the time you broke it playing football with your friends in high school. But, admittedly, I miss your lips the most.
I could write a page, just on those lips. They're neither too thin, nor too plump; too soft, nor too rough; too giving or too forceful in their taking - when you take my breath away, with that unnervingly perfect smile. Yes, even with the corner of that one tooth slightly chipped, and the little dimples you get when you smile that you hate so much. While I chance sounding like "Goldilocks," you really are Just Right.
Especially in what words come out from those luscious lips. If you were here, you'd know just how to make me smile again, with one of your stupid jokes. Blonde jokes were always my favorites, and don't you dare comment about me being blonde myself and what that means.
Save as many of those up as you can for when I return home. Sadly, my time for writing this is coming to an end, I must be on the move again soon, and I have to repack a few items. Find me another poem, love?
With All My Heart
