Virtue

I am depressed often and this is an expression of it

Into the void the soulless have fallen
Destructive creatures of death
Await the hopeless one
Defiance in his heart
He screams a painful song
Afraid to be heard
But dying to speak
The lost have no place to go
The soulless are not few
Truth has never been true
And life has never been kind
The decadence of this world
Outshines the goodness in its soul
To be the best, you must be cruel
To succeed you must be heartless
To win, you must hate
Hold anger close, it’s our only friend
Trust all, and pay a price
Trust none, and die alone
Honesty is not a virtue
It’s a disease
