Observing nature's beauty.
The Dance
by
E C Wesch

The summer breeze blew wild and free,
Bending all the limbs.
Rustling leaves were laughing,
Singing with the wind.

Branches swayed from side to side,
Bobbing up and down.
So graceful in their movements,
Swinging all around.

They did a dance so beautiful,
I couldn't help but stare.
And so I watched them silently,
Dance In the evening air.

Honeysuckles gathered 'round,
The broken picket fence.
Their trumpet blossoms opened up,
To share their sweet fragrance.

The sunlight filtering through the trees,
Cast shadows on the ground,
I watched the dance, and felt so blessed,
Just to hang around.
