Wearing white gloves to cover bloodstained skin
Behind shimmery and deceiving masks they connive,
And fate plays the role of destiny’s twin.

So what to believe in when truth is mangled?
What to trust when trust’s abhorred?
What be your creed when codes lay defiled?
What to confide in when God’s ignored?

Age old questions answer with blank stares
And broken hearts mended with screams and threats
Here our wounds lie mortal, infested, and bare
While for our soul’s possession demons place bets!
