i wield a double edged sword
cutting through obstacles to my future
and constantly haunted by my past
this is the way my weapon works

forged by the spirit of those who came before me
and shaped by those i have met
this weapon i wield grows in power
as does the burden

long and sharp cutting through just about anything
sometimes wicked and cruel caring for nothing
other times kind and compassionate protecting the weak
the blood that flows the most is always my own

so here i stand holding tight on the pommel
this weapon has been my one true friend
but has also been my greatest enemy
for my doubled edged sword is my mind
and it is what controls me
