Let me love you
Love you without the magic
Let me love you, without the love,
The way that mortals love
Love you for what you are
Not for what I want you to be
Let me love you, without words,
Without words like love
Let me love you, without requirements,
Without knowing what love is
Let me love you like a sunset
A sunset without the promise of a brighter day
And you can love me like the dead
Without echo
Without response
Let me bury you inside my heart,
And keep you there until the day of your resurrection
Until you once again walk among the living
Until I can only touch you through the time of a constellation
Until I can only see you through the fire of a shining star
